Arnica
For generations people have used arnica to combat aches, pains and inflammation. Widely used in Europe, this herb is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S., particularly in sports medicine.
Beeswax
With so much stress on bee population and widespread colony collapse, we only use certified organic beeswax. We support efforts to protect this keystone species, and are committed to doing our part.
Cramp Bark
As the name implies, cramp bark has been used historically for relieving cramps, including muscle spasm and menstrual cramps. Our cramp bark is locally sourced from Eugene, Oregon.
Devil's Club
Devil's Club has traditionally been used for medicinal purposes to remedy gastrointestinal problems and inflammation issues such as rheumatism and arthritis.
Lavender
Beyond its incredible smell, lavender is said to have many medicinal properties, including reducing itching and swelling, improving sleep, calming the nervous system and improving mood. Our lavender is locally sourced from Eugene, Oregon.
MCT Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is utilized by many for its skin care benefits and anti-inflammatory properties. Due to its low molecular weight, it has been shown to absorb into the skin with a less greasy feel than other natural or synthetic oils.
Menthol
We only use locally sourced organic menthol crystals in our products to provide a cooling sensation to sore and tired muscles.
Plantain
A Pacific Northwest Native, plantain has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples for medicinal purposes, most notably pain relief. Our naturally grown, organic plantain is locally harvested.
Peppermint
Traditionally used to aid digestion, soothe nausea, and as an antispasmodic, we use our organic peppermint oil to provide a cooling effect. Combined with our menthol crystals, it provides a little extra relaxation for tired or sore muscles.
Rosemary Antioxidant
Rosemary is one of the oldest known medicinal herbs, reputed to enhance mental and memory function. In our products, however, organic rosemary antioxidant acts to preserve our salves. Making them shelf stable for up to a year.
